As a huge marvel fan I'm glad someone else on DA decided to talk about this. I'm not going to start complaining or ranting (what kind of a comic book geek am I?) because nothing has really happened yet. For all we know this could end up being a smart decision that yeilds positive results, or we could get donald and goofy joining the x-men, who knows. But anyways, just wanted to say I was glad someone else was talking about it.

no, quite the opposite, really. Disney has never really been known to make BAD movies, so they're going to make an abomination out of this, and it's going to be GOOD, and possibly LOVED by kids all over :C

yeah, i dont know about you, but i have a loooot of people that i watch here on DA. there's been at least 5 different art pieces that have popped up on my deviant messages regarding this subject...most of them were making fun of the topic, like spiderman with mickey in handcuffs coming across batman with Buggs Bunnie in handcuffs, or something like Donald Duck dressed as Wolverine or Iron Man.

logically, for all of the kids that grew up with both of these worlds, it's a terrible, horrible idea. but from a business standpoint, it's not a bad idea. Marvel can only help make Disney more money. the thing is, will the parent Disney company choose to push the limits and ruin the things we once held sacred?

i honestly don't know. i want to say that EA sports was bought out by Disney a while back as well, but i cannot remember if that's true or if i'm just making up junk they haven't incorporated any disney stuff into those sports games, but then again, that's sports...

i really don't know. i hope they don't mess things up, otherwise they may wind up screwing with the Kingdom Hearts series even further x.x besides, Square Enix and Disney are WAY late on sending out the third game in that series. they really should've done something to fix that sooner....but with Square Enix's track record of pumping out games in a fashionable manner, that won't likely happen anytime soon.
