If anything bad DOES happen, it'll probably be in 10 years from now.

'In a conference call with investors discussing the detail today, Disney's senior vice president of investor relations, Lowell Singer, directly addressed the videogame issue. He mentioned Marvel's "smart licensing agreements with some of the best videogame manufacturers in the business" before adding that they're not ruling out "the blend of licensing and self-produced and distributed videogames."
"As these licensing deals expire, we have the luxury of considering what's best for the company and the products," he mentioned, referring to the previously mentioned deals with THQ, Activision, and Sega, as well as Gazillion, many of which won't expire until nearly 2020. If changes are coming, it's likely we won't see them for quite some time'
there you have it. IF bad stuff is gonna happen where we see Mickey Mouse Crusading around with a zombie Captain America (he's dead, btw. did you hear?) then it will probably happen for our kids to see and hear. and then we can all sound like crotchety old coots and use the phrase "when i was your age" and shake our fists for some strange reason...
speaking of fist shaking...

logically, for all of the kids that grew up with both of these worlds, it's a terrible, horrible idea. but from a business standpoint, it's not a bad idea. Marvel can only help make Disney more money. the thing is, will the parent Disney company choose to push the limits and ruin the things we once held sacred?
i honestly don't know. i want to say that EA sports was bought out by Disney a while back as well, but i cannot remember if that's true or if i'm just making up junk
i really don't know. i hope they don't mess things up, otherwise they may wind up screwing with the Kingdom Hearts series even further x.x besides, Square Enix and Disney are WAY late on sending out the third game in that series. they really should've done something to fix that sooner....but with Square Enix's track record of pumping out games in a fashionable manner, that won't likely happen anytime soon.
